Credit where credit is due.

Post by Leigh Trevail »

Having met Stuart and Ben at Snetterton on Sunday I would like to take the opportunity to thank them. Due to their efforts; a large number of local young drivers were given a chance of an afternoon of free motor sport, by that I mean taking part not spectating. I wish I had been given that opportunity 30 odd years ago! Apologies to the other members helping; but I did not catch their names.

Welcome to the site Leigh

The other guys were Gareth, Harry, Nik and Dan. A bloody good team effort I thought. Kind of you to sign up to say 'thanks' though. As you said, I would have loved to have had that opportunity at 18/19. Instead of that I was paying a fortune to get on to tracks via those experience days....big money all that time ago :)

Speak to you soon.

Yeah I'm always happy to help, it was a good day and everyone on the Autotest seemed to be having fun...both us doing the marshalling, Ben and Stu chatting and the guys participating :)

Hi Leigh! I'm Daniel :) could you guess? haha. In between chatting to the police and taking part in the autotest, my role was only a modest one assisting the guys with some 'hands on' stuff and taking peoples details but i thorougly enjoyed it. :)

Glad you had a great day, certianly was a successful one.

Hello Leigh, welcome to Big Power a pretty decent bunch of people who happen to like cars and fast driving, but only in the right environment, Auto-Tests are a regular feature so we look forward to you participating some time.
