i was up against one at Santapod, it was pretty much neck and neck, but he beat me by about half a second, which tbh for a car with a turbo was a bit crap.

If you need something shooting, or a payload to low earth orbit. Just ask.

I followed Jamie round Snetterton on my first track night. It seemed pretty stable, maybe a bit of understeer when the lead foot took over :D

I was driving like a girl though :nopity:

They are as good as you look after them. If you check out the last few years of ten of the best you will see somme good figures. I think a coop won the handling course two years in a row and the drag and top speed run wa pretty close in the front wheel class. I think there was also a 200sx/coop drag day which i think the coops over all won. The thing with owning a coop i find is when you are on a track day like when ive been to the bigpower ones people who own jap cars snub you a bit, but once you go past them afew times and they relise its not shit, they then give you a little respect afterwards.
When you look at reliability the last bigpower day i done at snetterton my 90000miles engine was going strong all the way through all three sessions, but when i came in after each session there was alot of jap cars with problems including i think you Drifter, so it happpens to every one at some point.

Certainly does Jamie

I have no blinded brand loyalty and having soundly thrashed all drivetrains, most engines and a fair few brands, I'd say that there is much to be sad for keeping an open mind about anything performance related until you've driven it.

I have some of those DVD's Jamie, and you're right, the Coupe's defend Fiat's pride very well. I love the five cylinder warble, the block seems tough and it's a well specified car; a bloody bargain for the money!

Well worth a look I think.......we'll just have to see what matey reckons after he's test driven one.

They've done it for a few years afaik, the SXOC did indeed get trounced, but the tides changed at the last one :) Horses for courses really, both and very capable cars :)

Absolutely mate, I destroyed all the turbo gaskets. They're gone now, no issues anymore except keeping temps down.
