That GT40 is gorgeous and demonstrates just how low they are.

Lovely shots Martin. Were you taking part in anything back then? Did they do RWYB at that time?

My God, I bet you did!!

Bloody hell, that would be worth a mint.

I have often thought about a big American car but I have never had the money at the time.........then I get the money and spunk it on circuit bits instead! :D

I found yanks alot cheaper to mod than my present skyline plus im lost when it comes to ECU,s etc, give me a big block V8 with a large 1150 dominator carb,an lots of gas any day.I know yanks don,t handle quite so good on corners maybe but in a straight line they can be awesome. When i sell the GTR i will buy a late 60,s muscle car.At the time i bought the shelby it was when petrol was going to be rationed in 73 so yanks were being sold so cheap nobody wanted them.

Great pics,
Those were the days,
I used to live just a few miles from the pod and got taken there with my bro around that time.

Awesome pictures, just look at that Dragster. Wouldnt fancy hitting the wall in that !!!

The GT40 is awesome !!!!

I agree with the American muscle car thoughts, would love a 1978 Trans Am or a later Firebird !!
