Spanky in TV interview

Post by Mike Broadbent »

Just had to get this off my chest! I'd sat down with a cuppa when dear old Max was being interviewed regarding sponsership worries for F1 in light of the current world wide economic downturn. He talked a lot of sense but what put the old blood pressure up was the fact that behind his executive was a large scale model of an F1 car. Hang on I thought, the President of the FIA is surely not biased towards any team, he and Bernie are completely impartial. Yes, you must have guessed by now, it was a Ferrari.
The other news is that the Canadian GP is being dropped in favour of Abu Dhabi, which means there are now no races in North America, which I personally feel is a bad move. Is is me or do any of you guys feel the same?

It is a shame that money is taking it to these places but it has always moved around. Canada had lots of problems this year with the track surface so i am sure it wont be missed and I believe they are getting it back once the circuit at Montreal has been sorted out.

As for the bias, it was funny to see what Bernie Eccelestone responded to the Ferrari chief saying that Singapore was a circus

,
Must have missed Bernie's comments Dunc, what did he say?
Hope you're right about Montreal coming back in the future. Track surface has always been a bit of a problem because of the cold winter they have. I do think that the way things are going we shall end up with a lot of sanitized tracks that take the soul out of F1

Theres hope for abu dhabi if its half as good as turkey ill be happy... if its half as bad as valencia ill be crying. on the subject of next year the cars look really funny tiny rear wings way up in the air like early 70s cars and mahoosive driver adjustable front wings.
