Bit more to it than that.

Same effect though I suppose

You're probably right but that whinging moaning, 'we dont get to compare against the real Time Attackers' thread did nothing for raising interest levels.

True ... but the track was changed by Glen fairly quickly.

Think the bottom line is that there are those that would *really* like a go a Time Attack, and are serious enough to put up and prepare the car for the job. The only reason that these guys might have been interested in MLRE is that you couldn't originally book into TA for a single round ... you had to commit for a whole season as I understand it.

When the rules changed, I guess that was one nail in the coffin for MLRE.

There are also a number of people who would love to just turn up and have a shot without fitting in with the necessary regs. If MLRE aimed at these, it might have stood a chance I reckon. Most people like things to be easy! I heard a couple of people that were interested totting up the cost of fitting in with the regs ( and guess what .... ;) )

Dill - I have a twin room with half free. Booked it with you in mind cos I knew you wouldnt be organised until a day or two beforehand ]

Nice one Dunc, I'll get the brews in then.

Been very busy lately so had no chance to sort out anything, not even checked with garage to see if cooler has arrived, and to book a hire vehicle to tow, and see if i can swag a trailor etc

I know it puts a downer on things when it's wet...
But it does help to even out the playing field a little as power isn't everything when there's reduced traction....

Should be an interesting event!
