When we turned up on thefriday i absolutely "cacked myself"

We had 3 runs on the Friday - 8.11, 8.14 & 8.16 which was fantastic
Turned up saturday to see a full bank of thousands & "cacked myself again"
First run 8.6 after a poor launch then back to 8.14.
Time to tweek the power slightly we thought & on the next run we were flying, head to head with Jon Tebbenham is his 7 sec probe & the launch was great from both cars - his 60 foot 1.12 & mine 1.15, halfway he was only 6/100ths of a sec in front & then at the 1000 foot mark whoosh i get a whole windscreen full of water from a split water pipe so knock the engine off immediately & expect to go very sidewards but thankfully the water went upwards & not downwards.
Coast over the line at 148mph at another 8.14 8) - John had a 7.8 pass so if we had kept on it would have been around 7.9 - 7.92.
Car was absolutely fine, water temps ok & was ready to go again on sunday but rained off & again today.
Five 8.1's out of 6 runs is awesome and a real credit to Abbey Motorsport. If we can keep that consistency & reliability whilst moving the times forward it will be great for competitions.
was really glad the car did itself justice & flew the jap flag, the reaction from people there was fantastic & they were really happy to see a jap car running in the mix. Was awesome to line up against some fantastic drivers & will help my development for sure going forward.
as for the top fuel & pro mod drivers jesus christ 8)
Roll on Japshow
Huge thanks Nick for your help 8) :-D
