Let's try and remain objective about this thread until the facts are in the open. Any more mud slinging and this thread gets shut. Capiche? :D

have had it the other way this week.....................

guy drops off a leggy turbo for a boosting problem (originally with no tax and can't understand why thats an issue??)

so T&T'd and have a run up the road, boosts reasonable but brakes are shocking - so phone call goes aong the lines off
me "checked the car over, all piped correctly and boosting as normal"
him " are you sure"
me " yes as best as i can without having a serious accident"
him "hows that then"
me "well the brakes are totally shot so happy to check it to the best of the cars ability, but you seriously need the brakes looked at"
him "can't believe you think it boosts normally"

oh well, take it to someone who has a spare anchor then...............

I dont see the problem is telling people when a garage does not look after a customers car. If you dont want to know that is fine by me. no skin off my nose..thought I was helping

I think it's more to do with people on this forum being able to qualify or trust the information that you are imparting. As you haven't introduced yourself and very few of us 'know' you, it is very difficult for any of the details within your posts to 'help' anyone.

You complain that there is a 'problem' with this garage and Ross, a trusted, well liked and known guy on here, rates them or at least trusts the owner. Do you see my point?

As a forum that prides itself on avoiding bullshit and mud slinging without facts, this sort of post has to be followed closely. Each individual is seperately liable for the things that they post after all ;)

I know that junction well as it is literally 200 yrds from Annabelle's school.

The road surface is very slippery around there at the best of times. However, it is a junction and any driver should not be pulling out until checking it is clear and that cant be done at 30-40 mph.

Whereas I understand your anger Steve, I think there is a lot more information to come out on this. Were the police involved to measure tyre tracks etc?

What time of day was the accident? (i would be very worried if it was towards the end of the day)

Hi

I am the owner of the written off Pulsar..
I have had accident investigators look into this and I have an idea of what speed the car was travelling at.. It was approximately 4.30 pm. The car was removed from the scene before I knew about it so no the police where not involved. The situation has been resolved to my satisfaction. I have purchased another Pulsar.

Now, if you'd said that at the start, you'd have had a warmer reception.
