i know a few of you guys in here are clued up with websites etc etc so was hoping you could share some of your knowelege with me i thought it would be a good idea to get a website for hosting some of my pics and stuff so but im having trouble uploading them, when i upload a pic and click continue it changes page and asks me to select an album, once i select the album i wish to put the pic in and select continue again i get this



i get the error message the previous file could not be placed, i think its something simple to sort but for the life of me cant find out what it is

no probs mate, im totally stumped by this, was flying along setting stuff up as well then came to a grinding halt

It looks like the program doesnt have the right permissions to copy into the album folder.

Check the install instructions and se if there is some intructions like:

chmod 777 xyz folder

soz its taking so long to reply to this, been helping my sister move house all day :roll:

send the web host an email but he didnt have time to have a look at the site as it was the back of five before i got home again..so basically i still dont know whats up TBH but the webhost had a quick look at the site and couldent find any faulty settings but is going to have a look on monday morning, by which time ill be back offshore for a three week trip (leaving today ), Xmas and new year goes out the window again lol

ill let you know what was wrong if i remember lol
