Plating is a plate which tells you the maximum weight allowed on the trailer and the weight of the trailer itself.
Its usually fitted to the chassis somewhere on the a frame . It will be the same as most other twin axle trailers i would think , not a big job to knock one up, but you might have fun if you get stopped in a roadside check and dont have one
There are loads of laws regarding towing most people dont have a clue about them ignorance is bliss though , i once collected a 3.0l Capri on a twin axle trailer and towed it home with a 1.6 Sierra;):)
Just built a car trailer.
Is the one at Costessey the one down by longwater near the concrete co and cemex etc as i go there quite a lot to load the tippers up i work on to weigh them down when i take them for an MOT test?
Will have to say hello when i next go down there!
What do you do down there then mate?
