Maybe we could have a dog grooming evening and get Gerry to chair it, plus live demo's
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Virgin / Training Drift evening. I'd like to give drifting a go but reckon I may need some assistance!

Is this a slippery slope?

We regularly have weigh-bridge and noise test at our monthly meets. These have proved very useful.
It was quite an off the cuff idea, but I imagined it to be similar to a dyno power run day. The same thing could be done with proper corner weight scales and also suspension sessions on a Hunter or manual set up rig. (assuming a good venue can be found). Everyone pre books, so the day is a combined club meet and each car has a session booked on each. Budget say 30 minute slots for a hunter to set up and get a cars settings dialed in. Corner weights could be done separately but they will take less than 10 minutes a car so easily fitted in too. We would need a professional garage with the equipment and operator for event but they could make a nice return from fitting so many cars in one day, and meet a lot of new potential return customers, so it would be in their interest to offer us a good rate.

Varying makes and models wouldn't really matter as long as the owner knows what settings he wants (either from personal preference or what the his service manual says) and we have at least one knowledgeable person to advise where the owner isn't sure.

We can combine a meet along with also improving our cars at a discount price. Also unlike a power run day which has never really appealed to me, everyones car leaves better than it arrived.

i think the MLR have done a day round the track as theres footage of mr norris driving round it on youtube or somewhere so if you could get enough interest then surely its a possibility, plus what a good way to compare your car against all the others that have graced the track!
