No Lee it was on the strip. The car wouldn't have been doing another run that day.
I've heard rumours that TOTB's time maybe running out due to insurance costs? (but its probably Bollocks. lol.)

Bob Rawle stuffed his car at last year's wet Scooby Shootout, I was parked a few cars away from him in the pit lane. I think the car that jumped the fencing on the handling circuit was an Evo, the previous year, 05.

Andy Forrest, in the R/H lane, did a 90o left turn across the front of Mikee Singh at Elvington when he hit standing water at some colossal speed a couple of years ago. Ended up through the left hand fencing and bent every panel on the car

Let's hope it stays dry for all concerned, the place is dangerous for competitors and the pits for spectators when it's raining.

When and where is it?

Also how do the judges pick the winning cars? is it performance? or on overall e.g. sweet rims, kit etc.

York Air Museum, Elvington.

1/4 mile & handling. sweet rims don't count, only how fast they rotate :-D
