Sorry to hear of your misfortune, sounds like its gonna be an expensive fix. Hopefully your insurance will cover this for you.
Best of luck and i dont personally rate the AA but in fairness they were very stretched themselves and had a fair few of there own vehicles stuck in floods too.

Sorry to hear about your problem.
My ex (note ex lol) wife did an engine in in this way in our very tidy XR3i many years ago. Our clever boys at Ford put an intake pipe out of the bottom of the airbox acting as a nice scoop
Hope you can claim mate.

Theres a couple for sale on ebay mate:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-CIVIC-TYPE- ... dZViewItem

All by seller RPSLIMITED.

Top price for a 21k mile engine is just under 2k.

Might also be worth posting on hondarevolutions forum.

But yeah go through the insurance first.

Have an engine sorted, just need to get it in the car which should be done by wednesday [-o<

Going to go with Ians plan and when funds allow rebuild my buggered engine. Also hope to have a rotrex supercharger(if all goes to plan) in time for Marham. This will give me a few more horses \:D/
