At the price you were asking frankly you take your chances, everyone knows that - it isn't as if you're a dealer is it - issuing a used car warrenty on something in showroom condition - first rule of buying a new car is don't give it any stick until its been well and truly checked over and serviced.
Anyway what's done is done - hope you can resolve the problem and sell it to the other guy who was interested - when I was selling my JCB I put some guy off and the 1st tssr didn't turn up - In the end I did not put anyone off (obviously I told them there were other people coming that day) - it finished up with two guys turning up at the same time and starting a cash bidding war.
