I can try to get Karen to bring the Golf to a meet or trackday if you like.

Its a chipped GT-TDi 150, 3door in Silver and its as fast as fook - quick as the evo or GT3 if you were one gear out if you know what I mean. It blasts around like a mad thing (it wheelspins on power alone in third if the road is damp !!!) and still does 50mpg - awesome bit of kit, cant wait to get it on coilovers, some 19's fit the VW bodykit and get DMS to take it to 212bhp !!!

Personally I would get an E30 M3 just for track work with a cage and stuff and spend the 500 quid you have left on a disposable runaround like an old Golf or Peugeot.
