Bloody hell. Not good.

All happening in Norwich, drove past the Inner Link garage place on Barrack street earlier and there was a policeman and car guarding a rather large patch of blood, all cordoned off and with numbered tags on it. Somone got hurt there too.

It's interesting reading the EDP version of the story - The driver didn't run off - he was there the whole time - well someone who was saying they were the driver - the police put him in a car almost immediately.

then again - I'm not sure who told me he was the driver .... so as story's go - and in the heat of the moment - who knows.

tragic all the same.

Doesnt suprise me what the EDP says, I remember when I had an issue that made the local and national press, the EDP spiced it up a little and were not very tactful during our loss. All they wanted was a story, I suppose thats what makes the news though.

Like you say Ben, tragic all the same.

Yep a sad day, apparently my mother had to wash down the shop front and car park space as blood everywhere. Car hit them on her car park spot and newsagents wall, mother closed early out of respect plus the girl was a customer at the shop

By all accounts there was a group of 7 16 -18yo's eating pizza when the car hit them, one of the lads who wasn't hit grabbed the driver out of the car while the other 2 passengers did a runner, the driver managed to get away but was caught by a taxi driver just yards down the road, he was speeding and well over the drink limit, he's now saying it he wasn't the driver (chicken shit coward)

ahh - that will be the one I saw then - the taxi driver had made him sit in the car prior to the police turning up.

That is so sad just goes to show it only takes one idiot to take a life or more. Life is short enough as it is.
My condolances to the families and kids involved.

I spoke to my mate last night and he told me that his daughter was in the front passenger seat when the car hit,i won't go into detail but some of the things he told me were horrific.

Just for the record, the driver did leg it.
