Well took the beast out tonight for a little ponder over to B+Q and gave her some beans on the dual carriage way. Everything was cushdy, drove to Mcdonalds had a nice healthy meal. Went out to the car and noticed the tyre was flat. Bollocks I thought probably just needs some air, not checked it for a while. Set off and it was like someone replaced the suspension with a Kangaroo!! nuts!! so pulled into a petrol station and tried to fill her up with the breathing stuff. Nope pissing out everywhere. So I went into the garage and bought some of their finest tyre weld and drove for a mile to the next nearest garage wich happened to be a tyre fitting place. I asked them, to put some air in according to the tyre welds instructions to normal pressure. However it wasn`t going anywhere but out of the tyre. Put my hand round the tyre and found a hole big enough to get 3 fingers in. So great!

no idea mate, couldn`t get the wheel off as I hadn`t got my locking wheel nut removal tool. The car has been left in the garage.

What a pain in the arse. Sure you'll get it sorted Terry. Could have been worse, imagine the damage if you'd been doing big numbers when the tyre went on you?

If it helps you to put things into perspective, today I learned that a really good friend of mine's wife has disappeared on him and he's tried to take his own life.
Cars can be fixed, go careful people.

The puncture was on the inner tyre wall, I struggled to get my hands inbetween the wheels and the arches, but I supose a kid could get his hands in there. Sorry to hear that Stu, I supose you are right it`s only metal/rubber.

Edited for Terry to prevent smart arse comments
