Lots and lots going on at Auto-Genie HQ so I apologise for the lack of updates on the forum. I know quite a few of you see some of the work via Facebook or my website, but here's a summary of the more interesting examples
A wonderful full fat Range Rover for a full interior and exterior session

With one of the nicest interiors I have yet to work on

I was very pleased with the clarity and depth of the reflection on this paint as it was a little tired when I started, and it certainly lacked gloss

The owner has promised me that I will get the opportunity to prepare his rather special race car when the engine is completed, so that will be something to look forward to

What next........how about one executive car to another

I am sure that this next featured car will be familiar to some of you already, as it replaces APT's trusty 330d e90 series. As it is brand new Gary and I arranged to get the car booked for a protection valet as soon as possible. Due to a number of reasons, I only had a couple of hours or so to get it clean and protected so excuse the lack of photos!

Next up is a more familiar APT car, the latest version of the APT sprint car and here are a few pics of it as it was being prepared for Ten of the Best (where Gary and the car went on to take a place on the winning team, and he set personal bests of 9.8 @ 140 on the quarter mile, and 170mph on the standing KM)
My work was quite varied on this booking;
-Clean up the interior additions of the new air-jack system, and repaint.
-Fit part of the air-jack system.
-Fit the new race sponsor/partner stickers
-Renovate the paintwork and protect the paintwork
Gulp! :D

Awesome, eh? :D

Next on the interesting list was a rather nice Jaguar XF, described to be 'funeral black' and in truth, when I got there and inspected it, that's exactly what I thought it was. I'll let the photos do the talking
This next photo shows a load of polishing compound but also how flat the paint is (hence us all thinking that it was non-metallic ebony black)
Image
Here's the metallic with a good dose of polishing and helped by a spot of direct sunlight

Et Voila........Ultimate Black is what Jaguar call it (same as Santorini Black that Land Rover use or as near as). One happy customer as they had no idea when they bought it!!

Another gorgeous interior thoroughly valeted

The alloys were sealed using the same durable protection that I applied to the paint. This will make them easier to maintain protect them as they are over

Last update for now, is on another local 600hp Evo :coolgleamA:

I inspected the car a while ago, and it hadn't got any prettier!! :D Joking aside, the owner was honest enough to say that it had never been cleaned properly with all of the real effort and money being invested into the mechanical bits (hence Alcon's, Motec, proper engine, dry sump system, cage etc etc etc)
It had really faded paint and looked like the cream colour they use on Mini's, it was peppered with insects, hammered with brake dust and had a fair amount of burnt rubber, tar, helmet marks (no, not those) and cone damage. Awesome! In order to remove the bonded contaminants so that the paint can shine, you have to use the right chemicals, and the right techniques. You don't get this at the
