We'd discussed getting it undersealed a while ago and I fancied having a crack at the Avus blue paint and alloys that needed some TLC, so this represented a great opportunity to get stuck in.

The main scope was to protect the underside and arches from rust, whilst improving the paint finish when we were waiting for the compressor to cool down! With that in mind a few other jobs got added but it was a cracking day all in all.......Rob helped out which made a big difference, and it was nice to catch up with Gary and Danny after what seemed like ages (thanks for the use of the facilities Gary) and also Ross and Jason too

- pre-wash
- two bucket wash
- detailed clean of lucks and door shuts etc
- rinse
- dry
- alloys off and comprehensive clean front and back
- archliners removed and arches deep cleaned
- entire underside/chassis cleaned and any loose matter removed
- airline used to blow out dirt from crevices
- exhaust silencer cleaned and painted with Hammerite
- 3 layers of protective undercoat applied
- Arch returns painted with Waxoyl
- Tyres dressed and sealed
- Bodywork given single stage machine polish
- Arch liners treated and refitted
- Alloys refitted
- Quick detailer applied to remove polishing dust
- Glass cleaned inside and out
