It's a daily driven car so in the four months of salt, snow and winter grime I was actually really pleased with how it had stood up. The purpose of this visit was to overhaul the exterior paint work as there were several deep scratches around the car, noticeably on the near side along the length of the car. In addition to this it was agreed to tackle the never cleaned engine bay and also get some protection on the newly refurbed alloys.
So between snow showers and driving, ice cold wind here goes!

So pretty mucky but nothing like as bad as a few in recent weeks. With the inspection completed, it was time to go through the normal wash routine to establish just how bad the scratches were and what would needed to be done to fix up, look sharp
Time to remove the burnt on brake dust (this was the best of the alloys but the prettiest photo!)

Tar spots don't show up well on a grey car but I've highlighted a couple

One of the scratches before

And after

Not 100% but a marked improvement
Another

After

Engine bay afterwards

The leather interior was cleaned, conditioned and sealed, the carpets thoroughly hoovered and all plastics, rubbers and vinyl were cleaned and treated. All switches and vents were cleaned using a detail brush and then wiped over with a microfibre cloth

We had several showers (rain and snow) so before I finished I went around the car with quick detailer to get rid of any water spots

Thanks for reading if you made it this far
