Focus RS- Extreme one day battle!

I have been really looking forwards to this one for ages 
A lovely mk1 Focus RS with some nice upgrades but the less said about them the better as I don't know whether they are declared or not! (Needless to say that it might be a lot quicker than standard 
)
The owner has not long had the car but wanted to get the exterior sorted out ASAP so that he can build this into a really desirable daily weapon
A lovely example but in dire need of some man-love and I was feeling obliging! The exterior had already picked up bird poo like you can only get at the coast and the brake dust was burnt on pretty thoroughly. Being remapped the car was also blessed with a sooty pipe (reminds me of a girl I once knew)
Loads of salt too
A really thorough pre-wash, rinse, shampoo, detail wash, rinse and de-tar ready for the new owner's requested clay bar lesson but already looking loads better
So a quick run down of what it is and how it works, as well as a do's and don'ts and then we were off
After ten minutes on the bonnet with before and after comparisons the owner was confident he could/would have a play with clay again unsupervised and I cracked on at normal speed on the roof and front wings (nothing else needed it)
With the car rinsed and shampoo'd again it was eventually moved inside a small garage for two stage polishing to improve paint condition and then a layer of polymer sealant for durable protection and wax on top for a deep, wet look.
Tyres were treated and I also used a new alloy wheel sealant which helps to keep brake dust and dirt off of the alloys (I used this on the Brembo's too)
My new lights came in handy both for warmth and 1000w of shine!
The engine bay also needed a decent clean and then all of the metal work protected, rubbers treated etc
Pow!!!!!!
Light, or lack of it, meant that it was impossible to get whole car finished shots tonight after the ten hours of work so the owner has promised me some photos tomorrow as long as it's dry enough. I did the interior too but by that stage I had given up on the camera side of things (sorry)
So, with enough time and planning I hope this shows a bit about what can be achieved, if I do say so myself
This car will now be easier to look after for the owner, properly protected from the elements and now totally justifies the tag of the nicest Focus RS that I've worked on
