Drive-in, drive out BMW overhaul

Post by Stuart »

Just a few pics from me on the recent work on Rob's 318is

We'd discussed getting it undersealed a while ago and I fancied having a crack at the Avus blue paint and alloys that needed some TLC, so this represented a great opportunity to get stuck in.

Not many photos of the underseal job in progress but most of them are on Rob's project thread here
The main scope was to protect the underside and arches from rust, whilst improving the paint finish when we were waiting for the compressor to cool down! With that in mind a few other jobs got added but it was a cracking day all in all.......Rob helped out which made a big difference, and it was nice to catch up with Gary and Danny after what seemed like ages (thanks for the use of the facilities Gary) and also Ross and Jason too :D
