I know Stu has his workers spying on other forums so may have seen this but I know there are some Drift enthusiasts on here who may or may not have been to Santa Pod on a DWYB event.

It was my first time, partly to check out the venue as a possible training venue but also as I "have to" do Drift passenger rides in the Racing Schools 400bhp+ V8 Touring Car round Rockingham, Donington & Mallory (tough job but someone has to do it!).

I can drift pretty well but am no expert and I have 2 open invitations from Middle-East buddies to drive their Pro Drift cars next time I am in Bahrain/Saudi so am thinking of getting some proper training in a proper spec car.

I was just spectating on this occasions and making some contacts.

Anyway, did some external video and put this together.

Apparently it was a quite day so expect a few more cars if you ever go over there but they say they restrict it to 50 cars.

Also, not everyone there is a Drift God as it might appear in the video, I edited out LOTS of spins but there were some pretty handy guys (and gals) there, BDC drivers etc.

Thanks for the link Maxx :) Will watch that in a bit.
Surprised that Donny allow drift rides with their ever increasing tough noise limits.

Thought I'd add that I felt that I learned more from one days practice at Norfolk Arena in my M3 than I did in about three years of trackdays. Learning what happened the over side of the grip threshold was empowering, and it certainly saved me from at least one crash when the roads got really icey.............bonus

Thanks Maxx, that is helpful to me as I have been given a gift of a full days drifting tuition at Santa Pod and it shows me some of what to expect.
