Stupid

Post by john B »

This just astounds me how stupid some people are if in doubt check it out..

I worked on the railways for 10 years and everytime someone hit a bridge the line got closed for hours to be inspected.......I guess this one is hardly ever open.

That's literally just like the rail bridge around the corner from me. It's only a 7' 11" bridge, but you still have people with sprinters, lutons, lorrys etc twatting into it. :|

That looks almost as much fun for the people working overlooking that bridge as it was when we were in St Peters house watching people going up the hill in the snow :)

Funnily enough Ely was the first one I saw a truck drive into driver let all his tyres down to try and get out but couldn't.......so he had a wedged truck and flat tyres....

The number of times I have been delayed due to some idiot striking the Ely bridge, even since they have put height monitors and great big flashing signs? yup! unbelievable.

I don't believe the stats either: http://www.networkrail.co.uk/aspx/3563.aspx
