I thought the info about the different compounds was very useful aswell as the description of the various types of fade.

For me it echoed what I had been told about the PF z rated pads:

Cheers fella of they come on the ax then got some Black Diamond Drilled Brake Disc's today too just need some better pads now :-D

mintex 1155 compound pads are very good :)

Will be giving my new PF discs and pads a good seeing too at Snetterton - just wondering whether I need to fabricate some brake cooling ducts at the mo or whether they will suffice as is. :?

Sorry Duncan, did not see this until today.

They should be fine......i'm going to bring the temp gun, so if you was planning anything like that anyway, do it, and we can do a before and after comparison (thats if the ducting isnt permanent and easily take off and put back onable).

I have a tyre pyrometer but it wont go to brake disc levels :(
