OK digging up an old thread as i think it may be time to do mine soon!
Its on my winter list of things to do!!

Frays how did you block your lines from losing all the brake fluid as i would imagine like me you have steel braided lines so you cant clamp them closed?

Do you think that if i prepped them and took them to get powder coated the finish would last due to the high heat?

Thanks.

Powder will not like the heat in my experience Ian.
Stick to a good heat paint and clear coat.

All you have to do is g cramp a small (flat) block of wood either side of the banjo

Thanks for the tips guys.

Unfortunately the Skyline Brembos do not have a banjo bolt on to the caliper the braided lines literally bolt straight into the calipers so i am a bit stuck as to how to block the lines!

They are just normal vinyl graphics mate as far as i know. Nothing particularly special about them.

I laquered over mine with a heat proof laquer. As far as i know the calipers still look as good as the day i refurbed them.

Frayz,
when you did this to your brakes did you replace the seals in the calipers?
Was thinking that it would be a good time to do them and all the degreaser etc might not do them much good?
