You guys make it sound like its laggy!! LOL.

Here is a quote from another forum by a guy that really knows alot about powerful cars.....
Mike Rainbird wrote: Okay, so it is on RS gearing which reduces it's top speed to a smidge under 160 on the limiter in fifth, but this actually makes the car all the more lively through the gears.

I couldn't stop giggling everytime he floored the throttle. It's like on Star Wars when the Millenium Falcon goes into Hyperdrive  .

I'm absolutely positive it would mince my car upto his top speed  .

The funniest thing, is that despite it being 4wd, he now has to drive it like a 500bhp Sapphire 2wd, as in make sure it is pointing in a straight line before pressing the loud peddle

It's an "OH - MY - GOD !" kind of car - so fast, it feels slow, as your brain can't recalibrate the sense of speed and acceleration quick enough - you're on the limiter in fifth and back down again to normal speeds in so few seconds, that it doesn't seem real  . The fact that it was dark made it even more surreal, as you had no reference points - just raw noise and acceleration with only fractions of a delay as the next gear is shot home (couldn't do THAT with a wanky MT75  ) and then all too soon the shift lights are signalling the end of play at 157mph .

Revs, accelerates and sounds like a big sports bike  :top:.

Mikes more like Luke Skywalker with his pretty hair, Gary's a bit like Chewie in as much as he doesn't say too much but you wouldn't want to take his food off of him. Christian is like C3PO.....immaculately turned out, precise manner, neatly packed box of lunch each day and that leaves Chris.........I'll have to think of a witty Star Wars comparison for him.

A few sneak pictures from my visit to the APT grotto this morning. These pictures have been taken and published with Garys permission. It's a multi point FIA Sparco cage. Lush :thumb:

This shows the front profile with the cage only one third fitted.

The thing I liked about the cage was the way it triangulated down into the shell. It looked very well thought out.

Much more to follow :D :thumb:

Feck sake Gary, get it sorted mate. Do you want me to explain it again  I see you decided to loose the rear panel/brace. That must make it easier and abit neater. Hows the front section coming along?
