Yeah you can Gerry You have to hit search then advanced search . Once in that area you hit the filters for the poster's name 'Dunk', the area of the forum you want to search, so 'projects' and the keyword which would be 'roll cage' or 'rollcage' (I think you mean these guys by the way ;) http://www....

If threads are older than 30 days they may be 'archived', I'll check this
The old link on favourites won't work. Simply delete your old shortcut and save the new one. I'll admit that caught me out too
