So annoyingly after getting it bolted in 100% perfectly without the top cups... I decided to make sure all was done properly and remove it again to fit the top cups. Cheers Stuart :) Also treated a few areas of the car to a bit of underseal - haven't actually done that much but just did the areas I wouldn't be able to get to once subframe was back in. That said I think I may have to drop it again not sure... Missed off the stock top cups from the subframe bushes...

I'd reserve any impressed states for once it's back on the road and not falling apart :D It's taken quite a while but have wanted to be 100% about everything I've been doing as obviously it's quite a large job to have taken on. Edit: Also, best tool ever = overalls & gloves! Don't know how i've gone...

I drove my old S2 106 Rallye from Falkirk iirc, down to Oxford via Wigan to see the mrs at the time.

Set off at 6am I think it was on trains to get there and then driving back - was shattered for the next week

To be honest will probably wait until the weekend and get the new wheel out of the garage and on/near the car - difference might not be as noticable on the car. My rattle can skills are terrible at best so reserved only for tidying up repaired rust and/or broken paint :) (Can't even do that too well...
