With the Turinis, the same colour as the intercooler is the best by far. The TA look would only suit something a bit tougher looking ie Comp MO.

Your rear calipers need painting black while you've got the brushes out.

Right, that's the 888s off the list then.

Thanks once again Dunk. Your threads are what got me thinking about all this. What are the issues created with 888s?

Swirl pot is a good call, I kept the tank above 1/2 full at all times on the Ring, as below that I even get fuel issues on the way to work.

Cheers

Impreza Track Preparation

I took my Impreza to the Nurburgring recently and there are a few issues I would like to resolve before the next Ring trip. The car is a 2004 UK STI with 23k miles. It is running approx 330 bhp with an exhaust, fuel pump, air filter and remap. Oil temps were hitting just over 120'C on one lap runs. ...

I would really like to resolve: - Wheel bearing/Pad knock off - Oil temp and breathers - Front end grip - Wheels and tyres - Fuel starvation below 1/2 tank Will do the maths a...

Different front hub means different strut or coilover. Don't think it'd be the cheaper option!

Muppets indeed. Would be nice to resolve before the next track session. Gets the twitcher going when you go for the middle pedal and it isn't where it normally is! Especially frustrating when the PF brakes are so good. Could try a couple of fresh bearings in the front, but not convinced it's a perma...

Just received some pics from Jochen at Frozenspeed. The high-res pics are very nice. I found him in the Pistenklause Saturday evening, worth finding him if you've been on track. http://i516.photobucket.com/albums/u326/Harmitans/T8N_0211Rjpg.jpg http://i516.photobucket.com/albums/u326/Harmitans/T8N_0...

That is a bargain, will be keeping a look out for some at that kind of price.

I knew signing up to BP was only going to increase spending!
