Instead it has become my daily drive. I also break into another decade next month so need to treat m...

The rover k series is the lightest car engine you will find, but a really expensive one if you you wnt to tune it to 200hp or more. But, if you have the budget it will save you c50kg over a modern, already 200hp engine. After reading your PM and realising it is a single seater then the best layout i...

Sorry if i missed it, but what car is it going in and in what series do you want to race? There are so many engine options but those details are vital if you want sensible options. If your target is under 2L I guess sprinting, and if you have sensible budget restrictions then I would go for any of t...

The floor is now flat, and most of the cat tunnel has been cut out. I make the seat frames and runners and I should be able to get a good fit now, once the cutout floor section is replaced, but it is already smoothed, treadted and painted in zinc primer. Pictures are on the camera at home so I will ...

A couple of months later, but the project is still going. - A cage has been sourced from Safety Devices and now fitted. It was a bolt in cage, but the rear half is welded into the car to strengthen it up and the front half fitted right against the shell and firmly attached. - Wiring almost done (I h...

Life just gets busier, as my absence on the site may have indicated. I havent driven the silvia other than to move it around the workshop since the gearbox and brakes were done so I am seriously considering selling it. It is that or the Elise, but i do drive that every week. Any interest here before...
