VF12 is a piss poor turbo, possibly the worst turbo to ever grace a standard Subaru except perhaps the even poorer VF11. Basically it has the lag of a vf23 with all the power potential of td04 on a bad day. I wouldn't fit a VF22 however, as it's even laggier and most people will not have the support...
